USING HEAT ENERGY AS A POWER SOURCE IN CARS
Project Description:
We tried to use the heat energy which we get by using the Seebeck effect in cars as a power source. In our project, we used sodium nitrate solution as the heat source. We observed that it is possible to move a car using the Seebeck effect. However, we are still trying to find a way to use that energy more productively. We planned to discharge the old solution, which is not hot anymore, in special places. Those places might take the place of the gas station in the future.

PROTECT SPECIES
We are developing a project to protect endangered animals, and I would like to inform you about this project. Our project, which we developed as part of the Solution Challenge competition, which aims to solve the 17 sustainable development goals determined by the United Nations, organized by Google for students at universities, is an artificial intelligence-based mobile application called Protect Species. As a result of our observations, when endangered animals are seen by humans in nature, the fact that people do not know whether the animal they see is an endangered animal and they are not aware of what action to take in case of an endangered animal makes it difficult to detect these animals and thus prevents their protection. We also noticed that people do not want to share private information about animals, such as location, species, to avoid falling into the wrong hands. That's why we have developed a platform where people can obtain information about animals they see in nature and securely share this important information with authorized institutions like you, who are trying to protect endangered animals. If I talk about the content of the application briefly; Users can take pictures of animals they rarely see in nature. If these photos taken by users belong to an endangered animal, artificial intelligence detects this animal and informs the user about this animal. After the user confirms the accuracy of the artificial intelligence, they send the photo of this animal to the application's data pool with one click, along with the location, time, and information they want to add extra. We would like to classify this information we have obtained and share it with you so that the necessary actions can be taken.

Achievements:
-Our application has managed to enter the top 50 among the projects participating in the worldwide Solution Challenge program and has passed the second stage.
